Leon Of Athens

Leon of Athens may sound like Shakespeare, but this rising indie-pop star is writing his own heroic tale. His debut album 'Futrue' made headlines in Greece and in the USA, in the New York Times when he went from tiny venues to playing to thousands in a few months, and was even invited to appear on Greece’s equivalent of “The Daily Show”.

In 2014 he moved to London and released his second album 'Global', which was produced by Tony Doogan (Belle & Sebastian) and recorded in New York at Grammy winner Dave Fridmann’s studio (MGMT).

“Timoleon Veremis has mastered the fine art of horn-smattered, electronica-tickled melodic party
pop.” NME

“brainy MGMT-style pop inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci" Guardian

""In this place where tragedy was invented, the song was joyful and
sadly cathartic" New York Times
