Villagers Of Ioannina City

Villagers of Ioannina City are composed by guitarist Alexis Karametis, bassist Akis Zois, kharmodista Achilleas Radi, drummer Aris Giannopoulos and Constantine Pistiolos in wind and second vocals.

Since 2009, clarinet has been included in the sound, which is a key piece and solo instrument of the band. In 2010 they began recording their first album, along with their continuous touring in Greece. In May 2013 they played live in Trikala, Larissa, Ioannina, Kavala, Agrinio and Athens, [5] while in September of the same year they performed three appearances in Albania.[6]

Their first album, entitled "Riza", was released on April 3, 2014, in the number of 500 copies in vinyl format and 500 others in CD format. [7] For the promotion of the album, they gave concerts in Thessaloniki, Larissa, Volos, Trikala, Patras and Athens, while they participated in the Way Of West festival in Drepano, the Antiracist fest in Athens, the Rockwave Festival in Malakasa etc.[8][9][10]

On November 13, 2014, EP "Zvara / Karakolia" was released in digital format. The two tracks of EP were recorded in Thessaloniki and the second part was played by Costas Papapanagiotou in the bouzouki, Giorgos Rigas in the baglama and Euripides Ninalexis in the tzoura.
